The Canberra Distillery – SLOE GIN
The sloe berry is a complex fruit which makes for a complex and delicious gin. The flavours develop from the combination of the sweet fruit of the which contrasts with their tart skins. The process begins with distilling our London Dry Gin, which we then leave it to rest on wild-grown sloe berries which are handpicked in Autumn. It takes a few months to extract all the flavor at which point the subtle taste of the sweet blackthorn berries and our superb gin base combine to tantalize your palate. Sloe Gin can be enjoyed in all gin cocktails but is best served on ice, as a Gin and Tonic or a Gin Fizz.
